Easton 2.5 years
-Loves anything with wheels
-Is really into singing lately. His repertoire is quite extensive and includes classics such as "My Fair Lady" and "Twinkle Twinkle Traffic Light" (Did you know that was a classic song?)
-Counts to about 15
-Is a very picky eater. This is one of our biggest struggles
-Is a smarty pants. Tell him something once and he'll remember it
-Talks constantly. I get tickled at some of the stuff he says
Overheard saying around the house:
Watch this Baby! (as he throws the ball past Presley's head and watches it bounce off the wall and back to him)
No baby. Don't do that. Do you want a spanking?
Bless you "Pressey" (after hearing her sneeze)
Presley 11 months
-Says "Mama", "Dada", "uh oh" and "thank you"
-Loves bubble baths
-Is speed crawling, cruising and standing unassisted. Almost walking!
-Waves bye bye and blows kisses
-Starting to show her sassy side. Just don't take the iphone away from her, okay?
-Sleeps all night long but wakes early ready to rock
-Prefers being with people over playing with toys and would be just fine if I held her all day long

Whew! We always seem to stay busy, but this year has been busier than ever. Late spring and early summer is a hectic season for me at work and there was a three week stretch recently where I was on a plane to somewhere different each week but now things are settling (a bit). Sometimes when I think about everything on my plate it takes my breath away and often I find myself collapsing on the couch or into bed at the end of the day like a car that's simply run out of gas. But then I quickly remember how blessed we are and am grateful for all the things that fill our life whether it be activities with the kids, our jobs, commitments with friends and everything in between.
Chris and I got to escape recently for a weekend to attend a wedding in Plymouth (pictured above. I'll post more about our trip later). In other news, we are currently building a home not too far from where we are now, scheduled to be complete sometime in November. The house we are living in and leasing is on the market so it's been a bit of an experience attempting to keep it ready to show with four bodies running around making messes. We're excited to finally settle into Austin and set down roots. Eager to see what the second half of the year holds!

LOVE the update and your sweet family!
